Bloomfield has so much to offer. Here’s an insight into a glampers life on site.
Fun for all at Bloomfield
Children get bored…..we know this as we have three of our own!
They’ve had to leave their Xbox at home and they feel it’s the end of the world…..we’ve been there!
Give them an hour at Bloomfield and their lives will be transformed. There is the chance to play football or swing ball, play in dens, have a game of hide and seek, swing from a tree, play on the rope swings, toast marshmallows on an open fire, make new friends and indulge in some quality family time.
A camping experience is’t complete until the whole family has sat around an open fire toasting marshmallows!
At Bloomfield we are lucky to have a number of ponds but the main attraction has to be the two larger ponds…..or small lakes! These are full of wildlife both on top and underneath the water. Look out for our resident ducks and geese that spend their days around the water area.
Have a try at pond dipping or if you have a fishing rod bring it along and give it a go, you may be lucky and catch your own tea to cook on the campfire.
If it’s raining simply bring your wellies! All the above activities can still be done in the rain….you just have to come prepared for it!
If getting wet doesn’t appeal to you then you can borrow books, games, colouring etc….from us, all you have to do is light your wood burner put your onesie on and have a cosy day enjoying your yurt.

A Lazy Day at Bloomfield
Set in the peace and quiet of the Dorset countryside you can’t help but feel relaxed at Bloomfield. Feel free to enjoy lazy days and take stress free walks around our rustic site and the surrounding country paths watching and listening to our impressive wildlife. You may even catch a glimpse of Dave the Peacock! Perhaps late afternoon you could take a stroll in to the village and enjoy a delicious pub meal and return for an evening around the campfire.
