The small print

Weekend bookings are for a two night stay, running from Friday from 1500hrs until Sunday 1200hrs. Midweek bookings are for a four night stay running from Monday 1500hrs until Friday 1000hrs. Maximum occupancy per tent is 2 adults and 2 children. Additional children sleeping in cots may be allowed if approved in advance of booking. Please note that the 1500hrs arrival is the earliest arrival time and the 1000/1200hrs departure is the latest departure time. We need every minute of the 5 hour window to turn the tents, pitches and site around between campers.

Should you need to cancel your booking before the balance is paid then deposits are refundable less a £50.00 Admin charge. No refund will be made once the balance has been paid unless we are able to re-let the holiday in which case we will keep the admin fee only.

No bookings are transferable to another family or person without agreement from us.

Bloomfield Camping is a quiet haven for our guests and not for noisy or group bookings. We therefore have a limit of 2 Yurts being booked together. Any more than this and it changes the balance of the site and considerably lengthens the changeover times for site. If you are looking for a site for exclusive use,  music or excessive alcohol then please look elsewhere.

Due to the quiet nature of our campsite we would ask that you respect the 2200hr – 0800 hr quiet period. Persistent noisy visitors that disturb our neighbours and/or other guests will be asked to leave without refund.

There is a No Smoking policy inside ALL of the buildings – tents, kitchens, toilets, reception. This includes Vaping and E-cigarettes.

No radios, stereos or speakers are allowed.

No pets are to be brought onto the site.

Bloomfield Camping hold no liability for any damage or injury during your stay. You are also responsible for the behaviour and well being of your children at all times.

All wildlife on site is to be left alone and not chased or bothered.

Visitors are welcome to come and see you but please let us know in advance so that we are aware of them coming to site. We also ask that you make sure that they do not bring dogs with them.

We reserve the right to ask campers to vacate site in the ahead of any forecast severe weather (winds over 35mph etc) where we need to take action to safeguard our tents. In the event of this happening we will refund money taken on a pro rata basis.

Having got all of the nasty “don’t” things out of the way – we DO want you to let yourself relax, de-stress and have a great time. We DO want you to have a great family break where the kids run free enjoying the rope swings, wilderness and old fashioned games like swing ball, quoits and garden darts. We also DO want you to experiment with campfire cooking and toast marshmallows over the fire.
